Cultural Symbolism
If Flamenco is one of the most famous arts in Spanish popular culture, then Bulerías are one of the most complex and festive Flamenco variations. Given the cheerful mood of the Bulerías, most of Southern Flamenco celebrations are closed with this dance. Therefore this piece is meant to convey energy, movement, feeling of happiness and the authentic flavor of Spain, reinforced by the use of an intense red colour.
